BUILDING HOMES FOR THE WAY YOU LIVE!
We believe your home should fit you….not the other way around. Whether you are an empty-nester or just starting your family, design your home by the way you live. If 80% of your awake time is spent in the kitchen, design your home around the kitchen with a large island, space for charging phones, a spot for the computer and lots of seating. If you only use your dining room table for a desk, forego the dining room and create an office space. Consider putting in a large nook or counter bar.
Do you do a lot of entertaining? Does everyone want to be in the kitchen with you when you cook? What are the ages of your children? Does the TV need a separate room, will it be the focus of the family room or no TV at all? Do you plan to add on to your home at a future date? Do you plan to add a pool? How about a “family foyer,” a place for the pet food and bedding, mail and bills, shoes and jackets? Where will those backpacks and school books go when the kids come home from school? These are questions you need to ask yourself.

Archive Properties, Inc. was incorporated in 1996 specializing in replica homes, new homes which replicate the esthetics of an earlier era. Through the years we’ve branched out into every style home conceivable….renovating, tearing out, adding on, reinforcing, redesigning and starting from scratch.
Meet Jeanne who keeps us organized and in line. Jeanne came to us after working for executives with World Com, the Chemical Engineering Dept at the University of Delaware and the FBI. But mainly we keep her around because of her wonderful can-do attitude.
Owner, Devon Higginbotham, has been working in Residential Construction since 1979, starting with a national luxury apartment development firm in Winter Park, Florida. In 1996 she decided to branch out on her own and incorporated under Archive Properties, Inc.
Formally trained in banking, Devon didn’t find her heart’s desire until two degrees later when she escaped the Financial district and started in Residential Construction.
